i don't understand why people get confused that talking about it doesn't mean endorsing it. And that children read literature partly to figure out their place in the world, giving them an unrealistic world (unless metaphoric like Harry Potter, or absolute escapism) will just be rejected as old fashioned, patronising and twee.
