Anyway. I'm doing the 50 book chalenge, which is really not a chalenge for me, I will be able to read fifty books in a year easily, I'm already on twenty five and I didn't read much at all in january and february and I'm not include anything the evil twin has been reading, but I'm doing it because I want to see how many books i do read in a year and to keep track of what I'm reading. Currently I'm exclusivley reading prose fiction, but when I get to 40 I will read ten non fiction books I think, They tend to take longer as i tend to make notes on them and think about them a lot. And then I will just read whatever takes my fancy. I sorted out my book cases tody because everything had got jumbled up (we have a reasonalbly coherent filing system, one bookcase has nonfiction by subject, and one bookcase is half prose fiction alphabetical by author and half poetry by author, but we have to sort them out every so often cos they get jumbled) anyway I was taking out all the books I havent read, and I filled another sixfoot bookcase with them, so we dont need to be buying anymore books maybe! And some of these books I've had for ages, Its just that English degree thing I think of when you do get kick back time the last thing you want to do is read, but now I am remmbering how much I love reading and how reawarding It is.
I think next year I will do the 50 book chalenge again but I will do it with books I've already read, because I have loads of books I havent read for ages and it would be good to revisit them.
I did uninstall WOW and get rid of the game, and it felt horrible doing it but it was definatley for the best, I havent really missed it much to be honest and i dont think id have finished my degree if i hadent done it (the deadlines are friday and the disertation is done, I have a third of an essay to write and two thirds of my po mo asignment which means I'm comfortably stressed about it)
