Jul. 6th, 2007 08:53 pmWell I had an awesome couple f days! We went to manchester to see tori amos which was just beyond awesome! She is an amazing performer and she was on top form. It was a two hour set as well and really well paced
We stayed in an amazing hotel that had been a flour factory and there were those big pipes in the room and like a ware house ceiling with metal beams. Was a really big room with an enoutrmous bed! It was really comfortable as well.
I really liked manchester as well, we went to the chinease art centre which had an exibition on arists from hong kong and work that explored Hong Kongs relationship with china after it left the british empire. Was some really good stuff there.
Also manchester is beutifull, it is such a jumbled colection of buildings, really new next to the really old. I wish i'd taken my camera
