Mar. 4th, 2006 03:41 pmI have done nothing today and it feels great! Only I'm kind of hungy.
I think there is a colective itch for this university thing to be done already. At least amoungst those of us who have some idea what we want to do next. Seems to be a demotivation as if uni doesnt matter anymore. I mean I am going to have to royaly fuck up not to get a 2:1 and its just like ho hum. theres only so much solid academic thinking you can do. I think degrees should take five years and have two years of relavant work sandwiched between the actual lecture years. I know about six months after I leave I will be thirsting for academic reading and discourse but I just feel saturated at the momement. And thats from me who absoloutly loves asking why and knowing stuff and learning. A lot of people are here just because they are expected to be or couldn't think what to do next and obviously never realy cared about pointless humanities lectures so god only knows how they are feeling.
